R: 1209 (E) The following draft of the Coir Board (Secretary) Recruitment Rules, which the Central Government proposes to make in exercise of the powers conferred by section 26 of the Coir Industry Act. 1953 (45 of 1953), is hereby published as required by Sub-section (1) of Section 26 of the said Act, for the information f all persons likely to be affected thereby and notice is hereby given that the said draft will be taken into consideration on or after the expiry of a period of forty-five days from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette: Any objections or suggestions which may be received from any person with respect to the said draft before the expiry of the period SO specified will be consideration by the Central Government DRAFT RULES 1 Short Title and Commencement (i) These rules may be called the Coir Board (Secretary) Recruitment Rules, 1988. ii) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2 No. of Posts, Classification, Scale of pay and Qualification The scale of pay attached to the said post and the minimum qualifications required for promotion thereto shall be as specified in column 2 to 8 of the Schedule. 3. Method of Recruitment The method of recruitment and other matters relating thereto shall be as specified in columns 9 and 10 of the Schedule. 4 Appointing Authority The Central Government, shall, after consulting the Coir Board, appoint a person as a Secretary to the Coir Board, in accordance with these rules_ 5_ Power to Relax Where the C
