Recognition of degrees . — The degrees, diplomas, certificates and other academic distinctions granted by the University, shall be recognized by 8 [the Central and State Governments] to the same extent and, in the same manner as the corresponding degrees, diplomas, certificates and other academic distinctions granted by any other University incorporated by 9 [a Central Act].

16.
