Government of Jharkhand Transport Department NOTIFICATION Sankhya-Pari.wi.(Niyam)-55/2018-774 Ranchi-02/08/2019 The Jharkhand Governor has become convinced that for the purpose of safety and convenience of common people, there is a need to control the speed limit of national and international routes, transport vehicles operating inside and outside the municipal area. Maximum speed limit of all types of transport vehicles specified within and outside the Municipal Corporation area of National Roads and State Routes of all cities of the State of Jharkhand by notification Gazette No.1171, dated -28.12.2018 of the Transport Department, Government of Jharkhand were determined. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section-2 of section-112 of the Motor Vehicles Act 1988 (59 of 1988), the following amendment is made by the State of Jharkhand in the Notification Gazette No. -171, dated -28.12.2018.
