Government of Jharkhand Transport Department NOTIFICATION Number-Pari.Wi.-145/2007(Part) 630 Ranchi, Date-20.06.2019 JHARKHAND MOTOR VEHICLE(AMENDMENT) RULES, 2019 Using the Power provided by Section 111 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, Governor of Jharkhand makes the following amendments in the Jharkhand Motor Vehicle Rules, 2001 - 1. Short name, extension and date of execution :-- (i) This Rules will called Jharkhand Motor Vehicle (Amendment) Rules, 2019. (ii) It will be expanded in whole Jharkhand State. (iii) This order will come into force with date of Publish. 2. Sub Rule-252(D), 252(G),252(H) and 252(J) of Rule- 252 of Jharkhand Motor Vehicle Rules, 2001 is Replaced with as follows:-- (i) Sub Rule(D) of Rule 252- An application for grant of Approval or Renewal of authorisation for pollution testing centre shall be made in form A.P.T.C. to the Authorization authority. Under this rule, the following fees will be paid for such authorization and such acceptance- (ii) Sub Rule(G) of Rule 252- The Authorisation granted or renewed shall be valid for Three (3) year from the date of grant of renewal. (iii) Sub Rule(H) of Rule 252The application for renewal of authorisation shall be made not less than thirty days before the date of its expiry. However for delayed submission of application the applicant shall have to give grounds for such delay with following late fine fees- (iv) Sub Rule(J) of Rule 252- The authorised testing centre will charge fees for the testing done and certificate issued for the pollution as per the following rates fixed- By The Order of Hon'ble Governor of Jharkhand (Prawin Kumar Toppo) Secretary Transport Department.
