NOTIFICATION The 8th January, 2016 No. Pari.Ayu.-349/2015/63 The Following drafts of amendments in the Jharkhand Motor Vehicle Rules, 2001 the States Government purpose to make in exercise of the power conferred by the section 65,95,96 clause(e) of sub- section(2) of the section 138 and 211 of the Motor Vehicle Act; 1988, is hereby published under the provision of section 201(1) of the said Act vide Jharkhand Gazette Notification No.-827 Dated 16.11.2015 for information of all persons likely to be affected and the matter shall be decided by considering the objection/suggestions after 30 days from the date of publication in the Jharkhand State Gazette. No any objectionslsuggestions has been received on published notification in prescribed time line. Accordingly the following amendment is being enforced from the date of publication of this notification: Jharkhand Motor_Vehicle_Amendment Rule_2015 1. Insertion of sub-rule (e a) after Rules (2) of Jharkhand Motor Vehicle Rules, 2001. Rule_()e 2) Village Route" means a route which connects a village or a town to another village O town Or a village to block o sub-division which does not include part exceeding 25% 0r 15 kilometre of the ordinary route whichever may be less and such routes be formulated under clause (c ) of section 68 of the Motor Vehicle Act; 1988. 2. Insertion of Clause (ix) after clause (viii) of sub-rule (1)(b) of rule 50 of Jharkhand Motor Vehicle Rules, 2001.
