Section 29
(1) If any registered practitioner whose name has been removed from the . r register under sub-section (1) of section 23 fails, without sufficient cause forthwith to surrender his , registration, he shall be punishable with a fine which may extend to five hundred rupees.

{2) Cognizance of an offence punishable under this section shall not be taken except upon complaint made , by on order of the Council.
No certificate required to be given by any medical practitioner or Medical Officer under any Assam Act or any Act of the Central Legislature . i in force in Assam, shall be valid unless such practitioner or officer is registered tinder this Act.
