12 Amendment of constitution An animal breeders ' society or a registering authority shall make provision in its constitution for the manner in which such constitution may be amended: Provided that such amendment shall not be inconsistent with the provisions of this Act or with the constitution of the relevant registering authority . The number of copies as may be prescribed of each such amendment or of the amended constitution shall be submitted to the registrar within 30 days after the amendment has been approved by an annual general meeting . If the registrar is of the opinion that such amendment is inconsistent with the provisions of this Act , he or she shall notify the animal breeders ' society or registering authority , as the case may be , w ithin 30 days in writing thereof and of the grounds on w hich the decision has been made whereupon the amendment shall be null and void .
