In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 77 read with Section 78 of the Arunachal Pradesh Excise Act; 1993 (Act No. 6 of 1993) the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh is pleased to make the following rules to amend the Arunachal Pradesh Excise Rules, 1994 namely 1_ Short title and commencement (1) These rules may be called the Arunachal Pradesh Excise (Amendment) Rules, 2004_ (2) They shall come into force with immediate effect_ 2 Amendment of Rule 55 In the Arunachal Pradesh Excise Rules, 1994,in the existing Rule 55(1) after the word "Distillery" the words "Bonded Warehouse, Wholesale vend and retail vend" shall be inserted. And after the word "the distiller" the words "the bonder; the wholesaler and the retailer as the case may be" shall be inserted. 3. Amendment of Rule 56 In the existing Rule 56,after the word "Distillery" the words "Bonded Warehouse, Wholesale vend and Retail Licence" shall be inserted.
