GOVERNMENT OF WEST BENGAL LAW DEPARTMENT Legislative West Bengal Act XXXV of 1994 THE WEST BENGAL COUNCIL OF HIGHER SECONDARY EDUCATION (AMENDMENT) ACT; 1994. [Passed by the West Bengal Legislature:] [Assent of the Governor was first published in the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary; of the 2Oth July, 1994.] [2Oth July; 1994.] An Act to amend the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education Act, 1975. West Ben. Act VII of 1975. WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the West Bengal Coucil of Higher Secondary Education Act; 1975, for the purposes and in the manner hereinafter appearing; It is hereby enacted in the Forty-fifth Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows: 13 This Act may be called the West Bengal Council of Higher Short title. Secondary Education (Amendment) Act, 1994. 2 In sub-section (1) of section 4 of the West Bengal Council of Amendment of section 4 Higher Secondary Education Act; 1975 (hereinafter referred to as the of West Ben_ principal Act).
