GOVERNMENT OF WEST BENGAL LAW DEPARTMENT Legislative West Bengal Act XIX of 1990 THE WEST BENGAL COUNCIL OF HIGHER SECONDARY EDUCATION (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1990. WHEREAS it is expedient t0 amend the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education Act, 1975, for the purposes &d in the manncr hereinafter appearing; It is hereby enacted in the Forty-first Year of the Republic of India, by lhe Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:- I. This Act may be called the West Bengal Council of Higher Short title_ Secondary Education (Amendment) Act, 1990. 2. In sub-seclion (1) of scction 4 of the West Bengal Council of Amendrent Higher Secondary Education Act, 1975 (hcreinafter referred t0 a8 the of section 4 principal Act),- of West Ben: Act VI of 1975 (1) after clause (0) , the following clause shall be inserted: "(ff) the Director, State Council of Educational Research and Training, West Bengal, ex oficio;' 2) in clause (g), in sub-clause (3), for the words "Viswa Vidyalaya;" the word "Viswavidyalaya" shall b substituted and shall be deemcd to have been substituted wilh effcct from the ZOth day of July, 198[, 203 The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (Amendment) Act, 1990.
