GOVERNMENT OF WEST BENGAL LAW DEPARTMENT Legislative West Bengal Act XXV of 20011 THE WEST BENGAL COUNCIL OF HIGHER SECONDARY EDUCATION (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2001. [Passed by the West Bengal Legislature:] [Assent of the Governor was first published in the Kolkata Gazette, Extraordinary, of the I8th January, 2002.] An Act to amend the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education Act, 1975. West Ben: Act VIII of 1975. WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education Act, 1975, for the purposes and in the manner hereinafter appearing; It is hereby enacted in the Fifty-second Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows: 1. This Act may be called the West Bengal Council of Higher Short title. Secondary Education (Amendment) Act, 2001. 2. In sub-section (1) of section 4 of the West Bengal Council of Amendment of section 4 Higher Secondary Education Act, 1975, (hereinafter referred to as the of West Ben principal Act); Act VIII of 1975.
