GOVERNMENT OF WEST BENGAL LEGISLATTVE DEPARTMENT West Bengal Act XIII of 1987 THE WEST BENGAL COUNCIL OF HIGHER SECONDARY EDUCATION (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1987. [Passed by the West Bengal Legislature: [Assent of the Governor was first published in the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary; of the 24th November; 4987.] [24th November; 987.] An Act to amend the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (Amendment) Act, 1975. West Ben_ Act VIIof 197S_ WHEREAs it is expedient lo amend the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Educalion Act, 1975, for the purposes and in the manner hereinafter appearing; It is hercby enacted in the Thirty-eighth Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows: 1. This Act may be called the West Bengal Council of Higher Short title. Secondary Education (Amendment) Act, 1987_ 2. In section 4 of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Amendment of section 4 Education Act; 1975 (hereinafter relerred to as the principal Act), in of West Ben: sub-section (3), Act VIII of 1975 (a) in clause (iii). for the words 'Ihe University of Burdwan; the words * the Court of the University of Burdwan; shall be substiluted; (b) in clause (iv). for the words ' the University of North Bengal; the wards "the Court of the University of North Bengal;' shall be substituted 3.
