¨sÁUÀ 4J , , 18 2022 18351 RD 07 CCRV 2022 Karnataka Government Secretariat Multi Storied Building Bengaluru, Date:18-11-2022 NOTIFICATION KARNATAKA LAND REFORMS (AMENDMENT) RULES, 2022 Whereas, the draft of the Karnataka Land Reforms (Amendment) Rules, 2022, was published as required by Section 137 of the Karnataka Land Reforms Act, 1961 (Karnataka Act 10 of 1962) vide Notification No:RD 07 CCRV 2022, dated: 19.10.2022 in Part- IV A of the Karnataka Gazette dated:25.10.2022 inviting objections and suggestions from all the persons likely to be affected thereby, within fifteen days from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. Whereas, the said Gazette was made available to public on 25.10.2022. And whereas, no objections and suggestions have been received by the State Government. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 38-A read with Section 137 of the Karnataka Land Reforms Act, 1961 (Karnataka Act 10 of 1962) The Government of Karnataka here by makes the following rules namely:- RULES 1. Title and commencement:- (1) These rules may be called the Karnataka Land Reforms (Amendment) Rules, 2022. (2) They shall come into force from the date of their final publication in the Official Gazette. 2. Amendment of Rule 9-C.:- In the Karnataka Land Reforms Rules, 1974, in Rule 9-C, in sub Rule (5), for the words “thirty days” the words, “fifteen days” shall be substituted.
