GOVERNMENT OF WEST BENGAL LEGISLATIVE DEPARTMENT West Bengal Act XV of 1983 THE WEST BENGAL TAXATION LAWS (SECOND AMENDMENT) ACT, 1983. [Passed by the West Bengal Legislature. NestBen; WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the Bengal Amusements Tax Act, 1922. 1922, the Bengal Finance (Sales Tax) Act; 1941, the Bengal Agricultural 8e19Act VI Income Tax Act 1944, the West Bengal Sales Tax Act, 1954,the West Ben: Act IV Bengal Primary Education _ Act, 1973,the WestBengal Rural Employment 'esgGen. and Production Act; 1976 and the West Bengal Entertainment-cum- Act IV of Amusement Tax Act, 1982,for the purposes and in the manner hereinafter 1954_ West Ben_ appearing; act XLIII of 1973 West Ben_ Act XIV of 1976. West Ben_ Act VI of 1982. Itis hereby enacted in the Thirty-fourth Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows: 1. (1) This Act may be called the West Bengal Taxation Laws Short title (Second Amendment) Act; 1983. and (2) This section shall come into force at once; clause (1) and clause conmence- (10) of section 4 of this Act shall be deemed to have come into force on the Ist day of April, 1983; and the remaining provisions of this Act shall come into force on such date or dates as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint and differen
