(1) The Committee may, for the purpose of carrying out the provisions of this Act in any local area, constitute a Local Relief Committee in such manner as may be prescribed.

7. (1) The Committee may, for the purpose of carrying out the provisions of this Act in any local area, constitute a Local Relief Committee in such manner as may be prescribed. (2) The Local Relief Committee shall, subject to the control of the State Destitutes Relief Committee, perform such functions as may be prescribed or assiged to it by or under this Act.
