Order (Date of Order: 27 . 09 . 2017) Whereas, the provisions of Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (Supply Code and Performance Standards) Regulations, 2017, stipulates for release of electricity connection to the applicants through pre-payment meters. And whereas, subsidy is provided to eligible consumers as per the orders of Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi on the basis of per month consumption of electricity. And whereas, the Regulation 38 (10) of DERC (Supply Code and Performance Standards) Regulations, 2017 stipulates as under: "(10) In case of pre-paid metering, the Licensee shall issue a statement on monthly basis to the consumer within 15 (fifteen) days of the end of the month." And whereas, difficulty has been reported in computation and giving credit of subsidy to the eligible consumers as per the orders of Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi on the basis of per month consumption of electricity where supply is made through pre-payment meters. Now, therefore, in order to remove difficulty in computation and giving credit of subsidy to eligible consumers, the Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission in exercise of its powers conferred under Regulation 85 of Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (Supply Code and Performance Standards) Regulations, 2017, hereby make the Order and directs the distribution as under: - Short Title & Commencement : -(1) This order shall be called Delhi Supply Code and Performance Standards (Removal of Difficulty) First Order, 2017.
