PART - [ EXTENT OF APPLICATION These rules may be called the 'Indian Maritime University (Non-Teaching Employees Terms and Conditions of Service) Rules These rules shall be deemed to have come into force from ]4th November 2008. Subject to the provisions in the Act and Statutes, these rules shall apply to the employees of the Indian Maritime University other than the University teachers PART II DEFINITIONS AND INTERPRETATIONS Unless the context otherwise requires, the various terms used in these rules will have the meanings as explained below: Average Pay means the average monthly pay earned during the 10 complete calendar months immediately proceeding the month in which the event occurs which necessitates the calculation of average pay Cadre means the strength of a se
