(25)/2011.__ In exercise ofthe powers conferred by clause (d) Ulsection 2L and section 59 0f the Punjat Excise AcL 1914 (Punjab Act No: of 1914) read with the Governmnent of Funjab, Department of Excise and Taxation Notification No. $,0.17/PA.V/I4I 5.9/2007, dated the 24th April, 2007, und all othcr powers enabling me in this behalt,L A Venu Prasad LAS_ Excise Crmmigsioner; exereising the powers of Financial Commissioner; make the following rules further {0 amend the Punjab Brewery Rules; 1956, namely RULES 1. (I) These ruies may be called the Punjab Brewery (First Amendmeut) Rules, 2011. (2) They shall come irto force on and with effect from the first day of April, 2010. 2 In the Punjab Brewery Rules, 1956 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules), in rule 5, in clause (a), for the words "ten lakh' the words ~twenty lakh" ghall be substituted 3. In the said rules, rule 5-A, shall be omitted 4 In the said rules, in rule 7, for the words, letter and figure *a fee; equivalent to the fec for gant of iicense in Form B-] the words "a fee of rupees ten lac" shall be substituted 5_ [n the said rules, in rule 8, for sub-ruie (1) excepting the proviso. the following sut-rule shall be substituted, namely "01 A license granled uder tkese rules, shall be valid for #a period of one ycar from Lhc date of issue, urless it is cancelled, determiried or surrendered earliet; and shall be Tenewable by the Financial Cammissioner on an application madeby the licensce after a period of three years Aitough; Ike license is renewable after # period of three years,yel 4 fee of rupees
