The Arunachal Pradesh Gazette EXTRAORDINARY PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 259, Vol: XXVI; Naharlagun, Tuesday; June 25, 2019, Asadha 4 1941 (Saka) GOVERNMENT OF ARUNACHAL PRADESH DEPARTMENT OF PANCHAYATI RAJ ITANAGAR NOTIFICATION The 2nd June, 2019 THEARUNACHAL PRADESHPANCHAYATS (CONDUCT OF ELECTION) (AMENDMENT) RULES, 2018 No. PR-159/2018.--In exercise of the power conferred by Section 150 of the Arunachal Pradesh Panchayati RajAct, 1997, (Act No 5 of 2001) the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh is pleased to make the following rules to amend the Arunachal Pradesh Panchayati Raj (Conduct of Election) Rules, 2001, except as respect things done or omitted to be done before such amendment; for regulating the Conduct of Election of Gram Panchayat and Zilla Parishad and all other matter relating thereto under the said Act, namely: - (1) These rules may be called the Arunachal Pradesh Panchayati Raj (Conduct of Short title Election) (Amendment) Rules, 2018. and commen- cement. (2) They shall come into force at once_ 2 (1) In the Arunachal Pradesh Panchayati Raj (Conduct of Election) Rules, 2001. (herein Amendment after referred to as the Principal Rules) , in sub-rule (1) of Rule 2, in clause (e), the of Rule 2_ words "Anchal Samiti" appearing after the words "Gram Panchayat" and before the word "or" shall be deleted (2) in sub-rule (1) of Rule 2,in clause (f) the words "Anchal Samiti" appearing after the words "Gram Panchayat" and before the word "and" shall be deleted.
