As per the orders ofthe Department, Opening of Sale of Specified Food Articles by circle FSOs/FSIs is done for each Fair Price Shop under their jurisdiction before distribution of SFAs t0 the card holders from the Ist day of every allocation month: In this regard, it is re-emphasized that in order to avoid any inconvenience to Deneliciaries due to delay in opening of sale, circle FSOs/FSIs are directed to continue "Opening of Sale" of SFAs for FPSs under their jurisdiction on the 1st day of every month onwards even in the event of 1st date of any month falling on a Saturday/Sunday 0r any other Government Holiday. 'This shall hold for all future occasions when the first 0f the month falls on Saturday /Sunday Or any other Government Holiday: Accordingly, Opening of Sale" for the month of December, 2019 will continue 1r*01 1S December; 2019 , Sunday onwards by FSOs/FSIs.
