Chapter XXXII THE MAHARASHTRA NAPHTHA (LICENSING) ORDER, 2009. Food, Civil Supplies And Consumer Protection Department Mantralaya, Mumbai 400 032. Dated I4th January 2009 NAPHTHA (ACQUISITION, SALE, STORAGE AND PREVENTION OF USE IN AUTOMOBILES) Order; 2000. No Naphtha-IOOS/CR. 55/CS-24 -In pursuance of provisions of sub-clause (i) of clause 3 of the Naphtha (Acquisition, Sale, Storage and Prevention of Use in Automobiles) Order; 2000 and of all other powers enabling in this behalf; and in super session of the Maharashtra Naphtha (Acquisition, Sale, Storage and Prevention of Use in Automobiles) Licensing Order; 2000 and any other Order; Notification or Instrument, in force, the Government of Maharashtra hereby makes the following Order; namely: - 1_ Short Title and extent: This Order may be called The Maharashtra Naphtha (Licensing) Order; 2009" b) It extends to the whole of the State of Maharashtra. 2_ Definitions. In this Order; unless the context otherwise requires (1) (a) sAutomobile " , means any vehicle registered with Road Transport Authority by any person, where fuel certified for use in such automobile is Motor Spirit, High Speed Diesel, Liquified Petroleum Gas o Compressed Natural Gas; sCollecior" means the Collector of the district and includes the Additional Collector; the District Supply Officer; the Sub-Divisional Officer; the Assistant District Supply Officer; Foodgrains Distribution Officer in the areas mentioned in Schedule-1 appended to the Maharashtra Scheduled Foodgrains (Regulation of Distribiltion) Order; 1966, and such other Officer or Officers as may be authorized by the Collector in this behalf; 731 The Maharashtra Naphtha (Licensing) Order; 2009 sCommissioner) means a Commissioner for a Division appointed under the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code,
