NOTIFICATION Dated: 21 st June, 2004 No. HPERC/021: -The Himachal Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 181, read with section 87, of the Electricity Act, 2003 (36 of 2003) and all other powers enabling it in this behalf, after previous publication, makes the following regulations, namely:- PART – I PRELIMINARY Short title and commencement. -(1) These regulations may be called the Himachal Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (State Advisory Committee) Regulations, 2004. These regulations shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Rajpatra, Himachal Pradesh. Definitions. -(1) In these regulations, unless the context otherwise requires,- (a) " Act " means the Electricity Act, 2003 ( 36 of 2003); (b) "Agenda " means the list of business proposed to be transacted at a meeting of the State Advisory Committee; (c) " Chairperson " means the Chairperson of the Commission; (d) " Commission" means the Himachal Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission; (e) " Committee " means the State Advisory Committee; (f) " Committee Member " means a Member of the State Advisory Committee other than a Member of the Commission; (g) " Member" means a Member of the Commission; The words or expressions used, but not defined, in these regulations shall have the same meanings as are given to them in the Act. 1 Published in the R.H.P.
