NOTIFICATION Nowadays, proliferation of spurious and smuggled beverages like Liquor and Beer in the State has become a major concern for its users and for the Department: As per available report, excise crime prevention olficials are detecting unregistered foreign Liquor and Beer from the open market These types of activities carried out by some unscrupulous traders have wide reaching ramifications_ Innocent Liquor" consumers in many States of India have met untimely deaths due to consumption of spurious Liquor: Keeping this in mind, the State Government has decided to make mandatory use of high security tamper evident Hologram labels in Liquor and Beer bottles gold from different retail outlets of the State, so that thc licit and illicit Liquor can be distinguished by the consumers, at & single look, side by side Excise and other preventive organization could detect illicit Liquor easily.
