11 . Power for summary tri al. Offences under this Act may be tried summarily in the ma nner provided for summary tri al under the Code of Criminal Procedure , 1973 (Act No.2 of 1974). Compounding. The offences und er this Act shall be com. poundabl e at the instance of the compl ainant and the victimised stu dent either before or after the inst itution of the proceedings .
