UirWar1 JRIIHIRUI ITz 28 3IIYTI, 2018 In pursuance of the provisions of clause (3) of Article 348 of the Constitution of India, the Governor is pleased to order the publication of the following English translation of notification no. 279/LX13-2018-40-18,dated August 28,2018 No. 279/LXV3-2018-40-18 Dated Lucknow; August 28, 2018 In exercise of the powers conferred under section 14 of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act; 2016 (Act no. 49 of 2016), read with rule 5 of the Uttar Pradesh Divyangjan Adhikar Niyamawali, 2017, the Governor is pleased to, (a) appoint District magistrate of the concerned District as Competent Authority for granting the support of limited guardian to a person with disability to take legally binding decision on his behalf The Competent Authoruty while granting the support of the limited guardian shall follow the procedures laid down under the provisions of rule-5 of the Uttar Pradesh Divyangjan Adhikar Niyamawali; 2017 , (b) appoint the Divisional Commissioner of the concerned division as Appellate Authority to hear the appeal preferred against any decision taken by Competent Authority regarding appointment of limited guardian: By order MAHESH KUMAR GUPAA Apar Mukhya Sachiv
