(2) If the money-lender accept!=! money sent in the manner spe1·ified in snb-:;ection (1) by n. borrower or withdraws money deposited 11nder the ea.id sub-section, he shall not be bound by any statement made by the borrower in remittiug or depositing tho money .

Any rerson acting in contravention of any of tho provisions of this section shall in respect of each offence be liable, on conviction to imprisonmont for a term not exceeding three months or a line not exceeding three hundred rupees or both .

Any money-lender carrying on the business of mousy-lending in contravention of any order made undor sub -section {l) shall, on conviction, be liable to a. fine wlllch may C!Xtend to five hundred rupees.
