4 . Subs. by sec. 61 of U. P. Act No. 09 of 1994. appointed under section 12 of the United Provinces Land Revenue Act, 1901, for the division within which the 1 [Kshettra Panchayat] or the 1 [Zila Panchayat], as the case may be, exercises its jurisdiction and includes an additional commissioner appointed under section 13 of the same Act for such division ; ―State‖ means the State of Uttar Pradesh ; ―State Government‖ means the Government of Uttar Pradesh; ―public servant‖ means a public servant as defined in section 21 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 ; 2[ * * * * ] 2[ * * * * ] ―regulation‖ means a regulation made in exercise of a power conferred by this Act ;
