1 . Subs. by sec. 61 of U.P. Act No. 9 of 1994. Functions of the Bhumi Prabandhak Samiti Members and Officers not to acquire interest contracts, etc. with Bhumi Prabandhak Samiti Act, 1950 and functioning for the area of the 1 Gram Sabha immediately before the commencement of the Uttar Pradesh Kshettra Panchayat and Zila Panchayat Adhiniyam, 1961, shall continue to exercise the powers and perform the duties conferred by this Act upon the Bhumi Prabandhak Samiti and shall be deemed to be Bhumi Prabandhak Samiti established under this Act.
