7 . Omit. by sec. 117 (b) of U. P. Act no. 09 of 1994 CHAPTER — XI RULES, REGULATIONS AND BYE-LAWS (1) The State Government 2 [may by notification in the Gazette make rules] consistent with this Act in respect of any matter or matters for which the power of making rules is expressly or by implication conferred by this Act, and may also make rules which are otherwise requisite for carrying out the purposes of this Act. Any rule made under sub-section (1) may be general of all 3 [Zila Panchayat] or all 3 [Kshettra Panchayat] or special for any one or more 3 [Zila Panchayat] or 3 [Kshettra Panchayat] to be specified, 4 [ * * * ] .
