EXTRAORDINARY PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 1315, CUTTACK, FRIDAY, AUGUST 18, 2017/ SRAVAN 27, 1939 FOOD SUPPLIES & CONSUMER WELFARE DEPARTMENT ORDER The 12th July, 2017 No. 13620 – 09561900012016 — In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (10 of 1955), read with the Order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution (Department of Consumer Affairs) No.GSR-104(E) , dated the 15th February, 2002 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, sub-section (i) dated the 15th February, 2002 as amended from time to time, and with the concurrence of the Government of India, the State Government do hereby make the following order, namely :— 1 . Short title, extent and commencement.– (1) This order may be called the Odisha Specified Foodstuffs (Stock Holding Limit and Licensing) 2nd Amendment Order, 2017. It shall extend to the whole of the State of Odisha. It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the official Gazette of the State. 2 . In the Odisha Specified Foodstuffs (Stock Holding Limit and Licensing) Order, 2016 (hereinafter referred to as the said order)— (i) "pulses and restrictions / possession / stock holding limit thereof" in Sl. No.1 of clause 3, in Table1 shall be removed until further orders. (ii) The clause-4 regarding license of pulses business along with tabel-2 thereon appearing in this Department Notification No.9926 , dated the 12th May, 2016 shall be removed until further orders.
