Short title and commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Karnataka Lokayukta (Amendment) Rules, 2024. (2) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the official Gazette. 2. Amendment of Rule 6-A.- In the Karnataka Lokayukta Rules, 1985, in Rule 6-A, for sub-rules (5) and (6) the following shall be substituted, namely:- ¸ÀA¥ÀÄl -159 Volume - 159 , 01 , 2024( , 10 , 1946) BENGALURU, THURSDAY, 01, AUGUST, 2024(SHRAVANA, 10, SHAKAVARSHA, 1946) ¸ÀAaPÉ 151 Issue 151 14970 , , 01 , 2024 ¨sÁUÀ 4J "(5) Where the Lokayukta does not avail himself of the use of an official residence, he shall be paid every month, an allowance equal to the amount or rates as admissible to a Chief Justice of High Court as specified in the High Court Judges (Salaries and certain conditions of service) Act, 1954 (Central Act 28 of 1954). (6) Where the Upa-Lokayukta does not avail himself of the use of an official residence, he shall be paid every month, an allowance equal to the amount or rates as admissible to a Judge of High Court as specified in the High court Judges (Salaries and certain conditions of service) Act, 1954 (Central Act 28 of 1954).” By order and in the name of the Governor of Karnataka, (PRATHIBHA K.) FINAL NOTIFICATION [ Whereas the draft of the Notification No. RD 575 KAMGRA 2017 Dated:10-08-2017 regarding altering the limits of Hulikunte village of Koratagere Taluk in Tumkuru District and constituting a new revenue sub village called as Gundinapalya sub village was published as required by Section 6 of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964 (Karnataka Act No.12 of 1964) in the Karnataka Gazette Dated: 14-09-2017 inviting objections or suggestions from all the persons likely to be affected thereby within thirty days from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette addressed to the Deputy Commissioner Tumkuru district. And whereas, the said gazette was made available to the public on Dated: 06-12-2018. And whereas, no objections and suggestions have been received; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 of Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964 (Karnataka Act No.12 of 1964) the Government of Karnataka here by makes the following notification, namely:-
