PUNJAB GOVT GAZ. (EXTRA.), FEB. 13,2008 (MAGHA 24, 1929 SAKA) GOVERNMENT OF PUNJAB DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE AND REHABILITATION Notification The 8 th February, 2008 No. G.S.R.11/P.A.10/1973/S.26/Amd.(9)/2008.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 26 of the Punjab Land Reforms Act, 1972 (Punjab Act No. 10 of 1973), and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to make the following rules further to amend the Punjab land Reforms Rules, 1973, namely:- RULES (1) These rules may be called the Punjab Land Reforms (Second Amendment) Rules, 2008. They shall come into force on and with effect from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. In the Punjab Land Reforms Act, 1973, for the existing rule 3, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:- "3. Where a person owns or holds land as land owner or tenant in Powers and more than one revenue district, the Collector having jurisdiction in the Jurisdiction of area, where the largest portion of such land is situate, shall be the Collector within the meaning of sub-section (3) of section 3."
