Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Punjab in the Sixty- First Year of the Republic of India, as follows: 1 . (1) This Act may be called the Punjab Security of land Tenures (Amendment) Act; 2010. (2) It shall come into force at once 2_ In the Punjab Security of Land Tenures Act; 1953, in section &, in Clause (b), the word male" shall be omitted. Short title and commencement.
