AMENDMENT TO STATUTES RELATING TO MODE OF APPOINTMENT, PAY SCALES & QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POST OF TEACHERS OF THE UNIVERSITIES OF THE STATE [Governor's Secretariat; Bihar, No.B.S.U. 14/77-1494/G.S. (1) dated the &th May, 1979.1 From, Shri H.N. Sinha, Deputy Secretary to the_ Governor, Bihar: To, The Vice-Chancellor; Patna University, Patna/Bihar University, Muzaffarpur/Ranchi University, Ranchi/Bhagalpur University, Bhagalpur/Magadh University, Bodh Gaya/ Mithila University, Darbhanga. Sub Statutes relating to mode of appointment; pay scales and qualification - for the posts of teachers of the Universities of the State-Amendment thereto. In continuation t0 this Secretariat letter No_ BS.U.-14/7 (iv) Training in Computerization/Information Technology/Specialized Areas may, if the University so decides, be also taken into consideration: (c) Assistant Librarian or College Librarian. Qualifications (i) Good academic record with at least high second class Master's degree in subject other than Library Science, and (ii) Afirst o high second class Master's degree in Library Science 2_ The existing incumbents of posts noted above, who hold the qualifications as prescribed by the University before this Statute came into force (i.ebefore 1Sth July. 1986) shall be deemed to be qualified for the posts they are holding: 3_ The scales of pay for the posts mentioned in Articles I above, shall be the same as may be approved by the State Government from time t0 time.
