MINISTRY OF LAW AND JUSTICE (Legislative Department) New Delhi, the 17th August, 2018/Shravana 26 , 1940 (Saka) The following Act of Parliament received the assent of the President on the 17th August, 2018, and is hereby published for general information:— THE INSOLVENCY AND BANKRUPTCY CODE (SECOND AMENDMENT) ACT, 2018 NO. 26 OF 2018 [17th August, 2018.] An Act further to amend the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016. BE it enacted by Parliament in the Sixty-ninth Year of the Republic of India as follows:— (1) This Act may be called the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (Second Amendment) Act, 2018. Short title and commencement. It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 6th day of June, 2018. 2. In the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), in section 3, in clause (12), for the word "repaid", the word "paid" shall be substituted.
