BE it enacted by Parliament in the Seventy-first Year of the Republic of India as follows: 1. (1) This Act may be called the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (Amendment) Short title and Act; 2020. commencement. (2) It shall be deemed to have come in force on the 28th day of December; 2019. In section 5 of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 (hereafter referred to as the principal Act), in clause (12), the proviso shall be omitted; (ii) in clause (15), after the words "during the insolvency resolution process period" occurring at the end, the words and such other debt as may be notified shall be inserted_ 3.
