No.CRC-1009/(37)/D-XIL- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Gram Nyayalaya Act, 2008, the Government of Maharashtra after consultation with High Court of Judicature at Bombay hereby directs that, with effect from the 2 nd October 2009.- (@ there shall be a Gram Nyayalaya for the Village Panchayat at the intermediate level, i.e., Panchayat Samiti area Nanded, sub-ordinate to the District Court of Nanded, in Nanded District. the said Court shall be presided over by the Civil Judge (Junior Division) and Judicial Magistrate (First Class), Nanded Taluka as a Nyayadhikari (till regular appointment are made), who shall periodically visit the villages falling under his jurisdiction, at any place which he considers to be close proximity to the place where parties ordinarily reside in terms of Section 9 of the Gram Nyayalaya Act 2008, after consultation with the Principal District & Sessions Judge, Nanded. the Civil Judge (Junior Division), Nanded as a Nyayacdhikari shall have Jurisdiction to try all suits and proceedings . a Civil nature falling under the classes of disputes specified in Part I of the Second Schedule and try all classes of claims and diputes which may be notified by ( Central Government under sub-section (1) of section 14 and by the State Government under sub-section (3) of section 14 of the Gram Nyayalaya Act 2008. the Judical Magistrate (First Class), Nanded as a Nyayadhikari may take cognizance of an offence on a complaint or on a police report and shall try all offences specified in part I of the First Schedule and try ali offences and grant any, specified under enactments included in Part of that schedule un Nyayalay: Act 2008 and shall a
