“ ‍ ‍ RAJASTHAN GAZETTE Extraordinary 13, , 19477- 03, 2025 Chaitra 13, Thursday, Saka 1947- April 03, 2025 4 () (I) ‍ (‍ ) ‍ Food and Civil Supplies Department Notification Jaipur, April 2, 2025 G.S.R.07 -Whereas the draft of the Rajasthan Food Security (Draft Amendment) Rules, 2025, amending the Rajasthan Food Security Rules, 2023, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 40 of the National Food Security Act, 2013 (Central Act No. 20 of 2013) was published as required by sub-section (1) of section 40 of the said Act, in the Rajasthan Gazette Extraordinary part 4 (ga), dated 05-03-2025 inviting objections and suggestions from all persons likely to be affected thereby before the expiry of fifteen days from the date on which the copies of the said notification as published in Rajasthan Gazette were made available to the public; And whereas, copies of the said notification were made available to the public on 0503 -2025; And whereas, no objection and suggestion received on the said Draft Rules; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 40 of the National Food Security Act, 2013 (Central Act No. 20 of 2013), the State Government hereby makes the following rules to amend the Rajasthan Food Security Rules, 2023, namely:- Short title and commencement. -(1) These rules may be called the Rajasthan Food Security (Amendment) Rules, 2025. (2) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
