NOTIFICATION (New Delhi , the 27 th March , 1991) G . S . R . 253 -In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section I of the Public Liability Insurance Act , 1991 ( 6 of 1991 ) , the Central Government hereby appoints the 1st day of April , 1991 as the date on which the said Act shall come into force .
