WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the Chandernagore Municipal Corporation Act, 1990, for the purpose and in the manner hereinafter appearing; It is hereby enacted in the Forty-sixth Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:- 1. ( 1 ) This Act may be called the Chandernagore Municipal Short title Corporation (Amendment) Act, 1995. and commence- (2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 30th day of ment.
