GOVERNMENT OF WEST BENGAL LAW DEPARTMENT Legislative West Bengal Act XV of 1991 THE D. N. DE HOMOEOPATHIC MEDICAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL (TAKING OVER OF MANAGEMENT AND SUBSEQUENT ACQUISITION) (AMENDMENT) Act, 1991. N. De Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital (Taking over of Management and subsequent Acquisition) Act, 1983. West Ben. Act X of 1983. WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the D. N. De Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital (Taking over of Management and subse- quent Acquisition) Act, 1983, for the purposes and in the manner here- inafter appearing; It is hereby enacted in the Forty-second Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:- 1. (1) This Act may be called the D. N. De Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital (Taking over of Management and subsequent Acquisition) (Amendment) Act, 1991. (2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 3rd day of January, 1991. 2. In sub-Section (2) of Section 3 of the D. N. De Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital (Taking over of Management and subsequent Acquisition) Act, 1983 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "eight years", the words "ten years" shall be substituted. 3. In sub-Section (I) of Section 4 of the principal Act, for the words "eight years", the words "ten years" shall be substituted. 4. Anything done or any action taken under the principal Act as amended by this Act before the publication of this Act in the Official Gazette shall be deemed to have been validly done or taken under the principal Act as amended by this Act as if this Act were in force when such thing was done or such action was taken.
