DE HOMOEOPATHIC MEDICAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL (TAKING OVER OF MANAGEMENT AND SUBSEQUENT ACQUISITION) (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1989. N. De Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital (Taking over of Management and subsequent Acquisition) Act, 1983. WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the D. N. De Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital (Taking over of Management and subsequent Acquisition) Act, 1983, for the purposes and in the manner hereinafter appearing; It is hereby enacted in the Fortieth Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:- 1. (1) This Act may be called the D. N. De Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital (Taking over of Management and subsequent Acquisition) (Amendment) Act, 1989. (2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 3rd day of January, 1989. 2. In sub-section (2) of section 3 of the D. N. De Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital (Taking over of Management and subsequent Acquisition) Act, 1983 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "six years", the words "eight years" shall be substituted. 3. In sub-section (1) of section 4 of the principal Act, for the words "six years", the words "eight years" shall be substituted. 4. ( 1) The D. N. De Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital (Taking over of Management and subsequent Acquisition) (Second Amendment) Ordinance, 1988, is hereby repealed. (2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken
