AN ACT further to amend the Cattle Trespass Act, 1871, in its application to the State of Assam ; Whereas it is expedient further to amend the Cattle Trespass Act , 1871 , h hereinafter referred Act r of 1871 to as the principal Act, in its application to the State of Assam , in the manner hereinafter appeanng; It is hereby enacted in the Fifty-third Year of the Republic of India as follows :-

Section 5670
