Act XXII of 1993) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) , the Governor after previous publication is pleased hereby to make the following amendment in the West Bengal Municipal (Employee ' s Death -cum-Retirement Benefits) Rules , 2003 , published under this Department notification No . 472/MA/O/C -4/1A -9/97 , dated the 20day ofAugust , 2003 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules):- Amendment In the said rules , for the existing Note in sub-clause (2) of clause (g) of sub-rule (1) of rule 2 , substitute the following Notes:- " Note 1 : Subject to the laws governing the marriages and divorces , family pension shall be admissible to the postretiral spouse of an employee ofthe Municipality under these rules .
