West Bengal Adibasi Development and Cultural Board ' with its Head Office in Malbazar, r, District Ja!paiguri , West Bengal , under the administrative control of the Tribul Development Department, Government of West Bengal . This ' The West BengalAdibasi Development and Cultural Board· d· ' shall be registered under the West Bengal Societies Registration Act , 1961 (West Ben . Aet XXVI of 1961) . The aims and objects ofthe Board shall be: (a) to promote and develop traditional tribal folk art. folk music , folk dance and folk culture; (b) to promote education among the tn'bal groups; (c) to promote LraditionaI games and other sporting activities a.-nong the tribal community; (d) to promote Santali , Kurukh, Sadri and other traditional tribal languages by providing proper intellectual inputs and resource persons; (e) to promote technical and vocational training and education among the tribal people; (tj to protect the lti:.lutfoal and cultural landmarks , objects , structures , festivals ofthe tribal community; (g) to take up health care measures for the community and nutritional needs ofthe elderly and infirm persons of the tribal community; {h) to undertake ac
