Act XXII of 1993) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Governor after previous publication is pleased hereby to make the following amendment in the West Bengal Municipal (Employee's Death-cum-Retirement Benefits) Rules, 2003 , published under this Department notification No. 472/MA/OIC-4/1A-9/97, dated the 206 day of August, 2003 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules) _ Amendment In the said rules, for the existing Note in sub-clause (2) of clause (g) of sub-rule (1) of rule 2, substitute the following Notes: _ "Note Subject to the laws governing the marriages and divorces, family pension shall be admissible to the post- retiral spouse of an employee of the Municipality under these rules. Note 2 Adoption after retirement will not be recognized for the purpose of family pension ' By order of the Governor; S.
