Act VII of 1990), the Governor is pleased hereby to make the following amendment in the West Bengal Medical Education Service, West Bengal Health Service and West Bengal Health-cum-Administrative Service (Placement on Trainee Reserve) Rules, 2015 published vide this Department Notification No. HFIO MERTISOR METTR-07-2012, Kolkata, the Znd day of June 2015 (hereinafter referred t0 as the said rules): AMENDMENT In the said rules, in sub-clause (i) of clause (a) of rule 3:= 1) In the second Provisio - For the words `qualifying service rendered in rural areas substitute the words *qualifying rural service' (2) After the second Provisio, insert the following Provisio:- "Provided also that the compulsory requirement of qualifying rural service may be relaxed or dispensed with in case of such Specialist Medical Officers, wbo bave been directly recruited through the West Bengal Health Recruitient Board or the Puhlic Service Commission, West Bengal and appointed by the State Goverment in State General Hospitals.
