Act VII of 1990) , the Governor is pleased hereby to make the following amendment in the West Bengal Medical Education Service , West Bengal Health Service andWest Bengal Health-cum-Administrative Service (Placement on Trainee Reserve) Rules , 2015 published vide this Department Notification No . HF/O-'MERTl508!ME/TRR07 -2012 , -Kolkata , the 2nd day ofJune 20 15 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules):- AMENDMENT In the said rules , in sub -clause (i) ofclause (a) ofrule 3:- ( 1 ) In the second Provisio- Forthe words · qualifying service rendered in rural areas ' , substitute the words ' qualifying rural service ' . After the second Provisio , insert the following Provisio:- " Provided also that the compulsory requirement ofqualifying rural service may be relaxed or dispensed with in case of such Specialist Medical Officers , wh who have been directly recruited through the West Bengal Health Recruitment Board orthe Public ServiceCommission , West Bengal and appointed by the State Government in State General Hospitals .
