and conditions, if any, as may be il&. '..ed by the State Government-
(a) contribute from the income derived from the s3id endowmen1 s towards the expenditure incurred in the maintenance of-
(i) the institutions specified in the Schedule, and
(ii) such other institutions as may be notified in this behalf by the State Government ;
(b) appropriate or divert a sum of four lakhs, ninety-four thousand and five hundred rupees from the funds of the said elldowments for the purpose of the establishment or* maintenance of a first-grade college at Tanjore and invest and keep invested the said sum in sec~lrities issued or guaranteed by the State Government ; and
(c) con~rib.lte from the interest derived from the investment aforesaid a sum of fiftcen thousand rupees annually for the purpose of the estabiishmerit or n~ailltenaiico of the said first-grade College at Tanjorc.
Thc corpls of lhe inveqtment referred to in clausl: (b) of sub-st ction (1) shall be held in trust for the purposes of th: said college in the joint names of three tri~stees, llan~ely, the Tanjore Distri1.t Board, the University of Madras and the managing body of the said collegc: ; but the District Board alori~ shall be co~npete~lt todraw or deal with the interest derived from the investment.
The Distrizt Board or other authority or perso11 referred to in sub-sec~iotl(1) may also lease out :my land or building belong~ng to the said Endowments, for a ycriod not exceeding three years at
