EXTRAORDINARY PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 1525, CUTTACK, MONDAY, NOVEMBER 2, 2015/ KARTIKA 11, 1937 FOOD SUPPLIES & CONSUMER WELFARE DEPARTMENT NOTIFICATION The 30th October, 2015 No.20959-09-17-15-66/2015/FS&CW.—Whereas, the State Government feels it expedient to supply food grains to the eligible households identified as Priority Household (PHH) and Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) Household, under National Food Security Act, 2013, by ensuring access to adequate quantity of quality food grains at affordable prices. Now, therefore, Government have been pleased to decide that all eligible households (PHH & AAY) who have been issued with new Ration Cards under NFSA, 2013 shall be entitfed to receive food grains i.e. Rice and Wheat at subsidized price, at the rate of ` 1/- (One) per kilogram from the Fair Price Shops (FPS) functioning under Targeted Public Distribution System (TPDS). The scale of supply of food grains for the Priority Household is 5 (Five) kilograms per person per month Rice or Wheat or combination of both. For AAY Household, the scale of supply of food grain is 35 (Thirty-five) kilograms of Rice per month per Household. The above subsidized rate is effective from 1st November, 2015 in 14 Districts in first phase and from 1 st December, 2015 in remaining 16 Districts in second phase i.e. the date of implementation of National Food Security Act, 2013 in the following districts: By Order of the Governor MADHUSUDAN PADHI Commissioner-cum- Secretary to GovernmentRule TOC
